“Life is long enough, and it’s given in sufficient measure to do many great things if we spend it well.” – Seneca

Life is short because we make it so. We are given life in abundance if we so choose. We can also choose to see our life as insufficient. Being action oriented, seizing each day will add fullness to the time we have. All the names of great people you can think of had similar time to accomplish what they did. The thing that makes a great life great is a decision. Decide comes from the Latin root “cide,” meaning to kill. The good life comes from killing the possibility to the contrary. Kill the possibility of inaction, of wasting time. Kill the possibility of ingratitude, feeling like you don’t have an abundance of time in life. In making those decisions, we can have all the time we need.
