Just asking

“The only thing that isn’t worthless: to live this life out truthfully and rightly. And be patient with those who don’t” – Marcus Aurelius

Why do you do what you do? Do you do what someone else told you that you should be doing? Or have you considered all your actions and taken the best course? Is your primary priority virtue or something else, like comfort or recognition? If your priority isn’t living a good life, why is it not? How can you correct the course when this is not the case? Do you even want to try? Why does it bother you when others don’t act rightly? Are you showing them the grace they deserve? Are you treating them the way they should be treated? Are you treating yourself the way you should be treated? If not why not?
